Default Repairing doors

My '96 ram 1500 has some pretty fierce rust on the bottom of the doors. Back in october i was side swiped by some gal in a mini van so my passenger door is screwed on the lower third. I'm looking for ideas of a quick and easy fix, and preferably under 400 or so to perform. I had a thought on possibly getting a patch panel for both sides, cutting off the damaged portion, applying some sort of sealant to prevent leaks where the door and patch panel meet up and pop riveting the new panel on. I know this is a shotty way to fix the doors but i have no access to a welder and i just need it to last and look better than a gigantic dent and rust. i was planning on doing a DIY flat black paint job once i fixed both doors, i really don't care if its show room quality, its a off road toy / main vehicle, not an award winning beauty.

Any help?

Check with local junkyards, see if you can't find a couple doors that are in better shape. Or, check the parts for sale section here, and see if there are any within spittin' distance of you.
