I put the AL in mine, it's identical to yours but a reg. cab. They will soften up after a while, put a couple hundred lbs. in it for a week.

can you let me know how the shocks ride, I was going to get them for mine.
So far I like them, but I only have the front ones installed. I set them on setting 4. I will let you know more after I get the rear ones in too.

Cool, thanks. Someone else told me to do that too. Putting my winter sand bags in it tonight.

My internet has been down here so Im slow in saying it looks great.

Nice job.

Im sure you wrote it but did you notice your truck slow down due to more wind resistance? I notced some when i did a 3 inch lift on my ranger.

Did you lose any MPG?

thanks

No, didn't really notice any slowdown due to wind or rotational drag. I think that is mostly due to my gears though. I got losts of power.
I gassed last night, but forgot to check my mileage, and I think I already threw out the receipt. I'll post back what the mpg results are next time I gas up.

Ok, last two tanks were 14.64 and 14.77. I didn't even bother checking the tank of gas when I towed the trailer for camping, but it probably wasn't that good.

So, I was getting about 16 mpg before I added the gears, lift and the Hypertech PPP. So it seems I have lost about 1.5 mpg. That's not bad in my opinion (I can live with it), and still higher then the 12 mpg I was getting before I started doing any mods.

14.65... 14.77... you dog! I still only get 12, but that's with a heavy foot... 13.5 when I'm easy on it.

That was driving normally too, not too aggressively, but not overly cautious or easy. It is also about 70% city, 30% highway. I wonder if the 5.2's just get a little better mpg then the 5.9's?
