Default throttle body spacer! pro's vs con's

got one on my 5.9 should i take it off or leave it on. cant fit my k&n intake on with it. it hits and wont clear by the firewall. clears my hood just fine just engine sits to far back. i have a jeep air hat that i made a 4.7 k&n intake job out of it.. only bad is its only 3 inch i want the 4 inch. i want my model intake on! but i also like the throttle body spacer. only way to get both on is if it grind the back hook thing off the throttle body to clear

Take the paper weight off, doesnt affect our motors, better to keep it off for weight savings and so that your K&N will fit

It's a glorified paperweight. Only way that thing would make any difference is if our trucks were throttle body injected or whatever you call it.

I love this quote, sums it all up. Don't you hate spending money on crap you have to take off later bc it hurts your truck.
