okay well i have another question my dad found a 96 360 with on 60k on it and got it for a good deal and my question is can we can the intake and fuel injectors off the 318 and put it on the 360?will they flow enuff fuel?
I couldn't swear to it, but I'd bet that the intake manifolds are the same. There's a better chance that the injectors are different, although the 360 PCM might just give the same injectors a bigger/longer squirt. Speaking of that, the 360 might not run so great with a 318 PCM. You might have a little more homework to do - and maybe try to get the PCM from the donor truck.
Why don't you want to use the manifold and injectors from the 360 - or are they missing?
well there from a 96 and the injectors have a different plugin compared to the 2001. were gettin hemifever to tune it but we are not sure about the injector thing

The 318 intake and injectors will swap on to the 360. The injectors are the same.
The FAQ's state that the 95 and prior 318's and 360's have different injectors but my 318 and 360 were both from 94's and the injectors were identical down to the part number.
there is a difference in injectors wiring connectors.. I'm not sure where the cutoff was, but I think it was '98.. EV1 and EV6.. I have 'on body' adapters if you need some that make EV1 connectors match up with EV6.. I have eight, and will sell them all for $50 if you need them..
take a look at your harness though.. you may not need them- you may be okay with what you already have.
