Does Anyone Have a Nice Factory CD Player?
I know this should probably go to the classifieds area, but I checked there and didn't come up with much. Does anyone here have a nice factory CD player for an '01? I'm looking to buy one and want to keep my truck stock looking.
Please let me know if you have any ideas on where I could find a mint-condition stocker.
Thanks!

The styles changed between '99 and 2003 depending on the vehicle model. Some '02s are the older style and some '99s are the newer style. There are some models that have a 100 percent failure rate and can not be repaired by little shops like mine without sending them to the authorized repair centers. There are different, identical-looking models that are much higher quality. I sell a lot of these at the nation's second largest old car show in Wisconsin. You are way better off with the cd / cassette combos even if you don't have cassettes. The cd-only radios are built by Alpine and have a number of problems. EBay is full of these. The combo radios are mostly built by Mitsubishi and are very high quality. People love these radios for upgrades after buying a used car without a cd player. They are my most popular model and I rarely get one back with a problem. They are all plug and play, but if you have the Infinity system now, installing a standard radio will result in a lot of bass. If you don't have the Infinity system and you install an Infinity system radio, you won't have very much bass. If you need help figuring out which model you need, e-mail me directly for more information. caradiodoc caradiodoc@frontier.com
