'95 2500 fuel problem
hey, new guy here. i'm trying to figure out a problem that has been plaguing my plowtruck- '96 2500 with a 360. when i hit the key if it doesnt fire immediately it floods out. bad. if i let it sit or 20 minutes and try again it starts and runs perfect until it gets parked again. its not a daily driver but when it snows i need it right now. any help would be awesome. thanks
Not sure what you mean when you say it "floods out". I don't associate that with fuel-injected engines. What are the symptoms that you attribute to flooding? Is there a strong smell of gasoline, or are other things going on?
I had a problem with my '94 318 a few weeks ago that might remotely be called "flooding". The distributor cap had carbon build-up inside it that was causing arcing and a no-start situation. I fixed the cap, but by then the plugs were soaked with gas and wouldn't fire. New plugs, vroom. Maybe I could have dried them out, but at $1.77 each I just replaced them.
Rule out all of the simple things first; plugs, cap, rotor, wires. Check for spark if you know how, post again if you don't.

dont think its the timing cuz once it starts it runs great. could be an injector. is there a good way to check?
