Have ya checked to make sure you have enough brake fluid?

Fairly simply, but it'll cause the lights to come on.

Go to rockauto.com and you can get that abs speed sensor for 30 bucks. It takes about 5 minutes to replace and no more abs light. As far as the brake light I'd take to Checker auto parts and have them hook it up to their computer and that will solve that.

Hey,

I am having the same problem. I have a 98 1500 4x4 5.9L.

Brake & ABS light came on and at the same time the speedometer won't work until @25 mph. Where is the speed sensor located? How hard a fix is it? Autozone does not list that part in their inventory. Does it have another name?

Thanks for the info.
