Go ride in some of the new cars and trucks on the road and tell me that you still think the 2nd gen rams are unsafe.

On another note, why are you even here? I have yet to see you actually help a member out without you talking down to them or blatantly posting a trolling post.

I have a couple friends with street scene mirrors on there chevys and they dont fit for sh^t, and one of them has cracks in both mirrors after only a couple years

Compare our year dodges to any other truck of that time, guess what we didnt do so bad, and I take these safety tests with a grain of salt, how many people run into an imovable object on the drivers side that is square like that......I bet not many, and when involved in crashes with other vehicles it has allot to do with momentum and weight, I have seen some pretty beat up dodges with people walking right away, then have seen what looked like nothing and watch a ambulance pull up to take them away

What does the section in bold mean?

85mph backwards? Thats pretty impressive. Spin must have come into play here.

And yeah, you're far safer in a modern vehicle then you are in one of these old trucks. Crush zones, airbags, and improved restraint devices trump "good ol' steel" any day. And thats coming from someone who races.

It means that I'm a **** poor driver and so was my Grandfather.

Spin was part of the equation and I have pictures somewhere just got to scan them in.

My whole point in the beginning was point out that in a minor crash where the airbag would be diploid, if your airbag is m.i.a. and you don't even have a padded steering wheel to cushion the blow the slightest bit, you'll be missing some teeth when your face hits the metal steering wheel. I don't know how it snowballed into this. It was meant to be just a simple idle comment.

Okay, your opinion. They fit great on mine and don't flop around like the stupid chrome elephant ears.

Your right bigredone. Infact, your right about everything. All of us should just stop posting and let you handle everything.
