Snow was amazing, and now that i have to shovel and plow it, and spend extra $$$ on fuel do to 4wd for like 7months a year.. I kinda hate it after Xmas lol...

Have you considered a magnetic oil pan/block heater?

Josh, you will need an aux oil cooler for the engine oil one.

If you get a block heater, the tranny will get warmer faster. The radiator is want warms tranny fluid in the winter. If the coolant is warm, it will start warming the tranny fluid faster.

Since we have a V8, we should get 2 block heaters (one for each side). Otherwise the block will not really get heated in really cold climates.

I have a block heater(freeze plug type). I may get a secondary one, along with a tranny and battery heater...
