I couldn't find it anywhere but when putting on new gears and chain I found it best to put both gears in the chain with the dots lined up in correct position and tap the crank gear on while holding cam gear and chain tight. Once you get crank gear on good enough you can tap cam gear on. Head scratching moment for me lol.
