Need rear suspension help!
Can anyone tell me what 3/4 ton rear leaf suspension pack will fit into a 2000 Ram Wagon with a 109.3" WB? I know this is not the proper forum, but I the van forum has nothing but questions and people discussing busted parts, of which I don't yet have any, yet. Thanks in advance for your help.
Moving to 2nd gen...
Usually not without some modification to the the points where the leaf springs will attach to the vehicle frame. 3/4 ton leaf springs are wider than their 1/2 ton counterparts.

Ah, I see. So most likely the simplest option is to add a leaf to my existing setup? Can anyone recommend a better, best, or easier way to go about beefing up the rear suspension? Anyone recommend a decent aftermarket leaf-spring kit? I want to do some interior conversions that will increase the weight in the rear by quite a bit, and the van is gonna see a fair amount of off-road use getting to and from some remote areas. Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.
if you want lift and stiffer ride - add a leaf or two to your spring pack. you might need longer u-bolts and center pin.
if you want to add weight capacity - but not add height or affect unloaded ride quality - then put on Timbren rubber spring helpers. they replace your factory bump stops and add ****-loads of weight capacity.
I don't see the Van listed, but maybe its there.

The Timbren product looks like a good deal, but I am looking for a bit of a lift as well. Sounds like adding a leaf is gonna be my best bet. I put in a track-loc and now would like to put a little more rubber in contact with the ground. As far as tires go, my options for going larger are kinda limited unless I can find a wider rim. Can anyone tell me if the 5 lug rims from the older ram pickups (98-03) will fit the van. I think the lug pattern is the same. The wheel is a couple inches wider, which is what I am looking for. I think those wheels were 16x8 (is that correct) compared to the 15x6.5 that are on the van now. Anyone foresee a problem with this? Thanks again.
