Check the inline check valve on the passenger side of the intake, that was causing mine to do that on acceleration. You should be able to remove it and blow through it from one side and not be able to from the other end.

alright thanks for the help. fixed o2 connector and havent had a problem (knock on wood) but the defrost is permantly on unless i have the whole system off. im goignt to try it tom

so let me be clear on this. The reason my AC goes from blowing out the front facing vents to the defroster/windsheild vents upon acceleration is because of a vaccum leak at the check valve? I've always wondered why in the heck that happened. I'm going to fix it today.

changed the check valve and defrost goes on and off but i still got the wild vents. and it looks like my new o2 sesor is crap....

Did you change both check valves? one at the pass side of the intake and another one up by the pass side firewall, follow the vac lines up and you should see the other one.
