hi im new and have a question about my 2001 dodge ram 1500 4x4 with the 318 ci motor,

the problem is when i start the truck is sounds like it has a super race cam and will idle right down untill the truck shuts off, if i press the pedal down it will rev fine but then go down to sounding like a race cam then shut off,

any help will be appreciated as i cant even drive it right now

 

nevermind i did some reading and found out its either the TPS or IAC will replace those and see how it goes, must be a common problem.....
