Hey everyone its been a while since i've been on here but i have a question and would appreciate any input you might have, I have a 2000 Dodge Ram 1500 with a 318 and it has a noise that sounds like a rod knock, but I took the oil pan off at school and checked all the clearances, put new rod and main bearings in it and the noise still remains. After i did all of this i looked a little bit harder to pin point the noise and it is definitly coming from by the inspection plate or inside the belllhousing itself, if anyone has had this problem or has any advice please let me know
