So yesterday i was sent on a trip to a neighboring town to pick up our new couch. I had just gotten my superchip the day before and thought i would try out the mileage tune. So i filled the tank before i left and reset the odometer and made the trip, it was 46 miles round trip. I averaged 15.5 mpg highway and a little bit of city driving in there. Now i was pretty excited when i got this, my truck is a 5.9 with 4x4 so i wasn't expecting great mileage. The last time i checked my mileage i got 11.8 mpg. That was driving at highway/ city about 60/40. I also just recently did the hughes plenum fix and changed the precat O2 sensor. what kinda mileage are you guys getting on your trucks? i know there have been a million posts on mileage. but lets make it a million and one. haha also i have a CAI from ebay and glasspack in place of the muffler and a Y pipe after that. Also 32 inch tall tires, or close to that.

 

Average speed? I just recently discovered that my speed-o is about 6-7 mph slower than I'm moving. No wonder I was passing so many people on the hi-way. I'm usually the passee.

Going to to the plenum this spring and maybe get a tuner if I can sneak it under the radar.

 

I'm getting about 17-18mpg on the mileage setting highway only driving at 62mph.. i'm running 265's, 3" flowmaster 50 series, 1.7rr's, 52mm fastman tb, SC 3815 and a 14x3 round filter

when I run it on the tow setting I get about 10-12mpg towing my 6x12 tandem axle empty trailer which weight 1,573lbs.
