Default 1998 Ram 1500 throwing new 02 code..

Okay so i had recently posted about my truck.. 1998 Dodge Ram 1500 5.2L v8... throwing codes. PO132 and PO138.. I have already replaced both 02 sensors.. I checked all grounds, reset PCM, and other things as instructed by others in my previous thread..

I thought I had solved the problem because the truck had ran great for about 2 days but now the CEL is back on and its now throwing codes.. PO132 and PO135 (02 sensor heater malfunction)...

Im now un-sure of what to do other then try putting the original 02 sensor back in because it seems that all these codes are being thrown from the upper 02 sensor (before the cat)...

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.. Thanks a lot!

P0132 1/1 O2S Shorted To Voltage

P0135 1/1 O2S Heater Failure

I might be confused, but, was this the truck that had the melted connector on laying on the cat?

Check the wiring for the pre-cat O2 sensor. Looks like maybe some wires got shorted together..... pay special attention to the connector. (yeah, the one WAY up on top of the trans.... such fun.)

Well the problem has gotten worse once again.. the truck is running like **** down the road.. everytime i hit the gas it dies out and the only way it accelerates is if i put the pedal to the floor.. I checked both my 02 sensors for melted wires and they're both perfect..

Try clearing the codes and resetting your PCM.

I think i figured it out... the under-hood fuse for my 02 sensors is blown. Now only if I had some mini-fuses :/
