I might just go ahead and try this some day when it's nice out, I probably use the OD switch more than anyone haha! If I do it I'll be sure to take pics and stuff.... Nice find!

If you ever have a chance scour the entire site, theres a lot of info on there, and most the writeups and that were done when 2nd gen trucks were still "new".
I use the site constantly for researching replies to from posts here and elsewhere. The TSB section is priceless.

I have that site bookmarked I believe, I just haven't spent a lot of time lookin through it. I definitely didn't see the OD mod gem there, I woulda had this done months ago lol.... I have some relays and tons of wire here so I'll go at it sometime soon. Maybe today even if it's not too cool out!

I'm kinda impressed that I remembered reading it. Seems there was more than one article but that one covers it. I'm sure that dates back to 2001 or earlier.
