Lockers?

If you can afford it, Detroit..
I've used a Lock-Right, No-Slip and Aussie Lockers. My favorite being the Aussies, nothing for the 9.25 but they make one for the D44. Lock-right was OK, not a fan of the No-Slip in my truck or my buddies Ranger. Have a wheeling buddy that just lost a Lock-Right in the front of his rig last wheelin' trip, to be fair he was the 3rd owner, he replaced it with an Aussie. My buddy with the Ranger went with a Detroit when he upgraded axles and he likes it, I haven't driven it so I can't comment.

Detroit full locker in the rear. Almost never have to enable 4 wheel. It now comes as the soft locker, not as loud or jerky as the old style. When you apply torque, it locks, when take your foot off the petal, it opens. Only consider a front locker if you ditch the auto hubs, otherwise you will chew through them pretty quick.

I find limited slips to be about useless in off-road situations. It doesn't matter how often it goes off road, if you want off-road performance that's worth a damn, you need a locker or 2.
