got the airgap installed however ?
ok a couple things the install was good but took forever ! broke a bolt that took about 6 hours too drill took about 20 hrs for the whole projuct just because i never done something so deep into taking it all off.
for some reason after the install my 4WD dont work 4hi or 4 low wont do anything just stays in 2wd ? anything that would mess with my that with the install of the airgap ?
also didnt install the IAT sensor yet, gotta drill a hole in my 14x3 no biggie
also broke the black peice on the cable line that snaps to the throttle body . it is snug enought to get it to a shop to get fixed.
other than that dunno how the gain is yet because all we have is snow and i dont want my throttle cable to come off ! thanks ill keep this thread alive with my results of the airgap !
really would like to know whats going on with my 4wd though ?

yeah they are kind of saucer shaped and the will be between two vaccum hoses. they allow the vaccum to only travel in one direction if its backwards it wont allow vacumm to pass it. i think are trucks have two or three. to check direction suck on one side the direction in which you can freely suck air should face the intake
crawlin is correct, 4WD is engaged by a vacuum switch. Make sure you don't have any vac tubes hanging loose.
If you cracked one moving it in cold weather, you can repair it with some flexible vac tubing. Just cut the plastic vac line in 2 and shove the two ends into the rubber vac hose so that the end of the plastic are at least an inch up the rubber tube. Make sure the rubber tubing has a small enough inner diameter to hold snug on the ends of the plastic tubing.
Check valves are the large round discs you find in the vac lines, there should be one in the accessory vac line (the one that T's to many other things) really close to the connector to the intake manifold.
