Default 3 in body lift on sport

Hey guys I was lookin at getting a 3 inch body lift for my 97 sport I am a long time user of Summit racing, there is one kit that not fit my truck because its a sport. My buddy has a 01 sport that has a factory lift on it and looks pretty decent would I be able to get ahold of the factory lift for my truck or would I be better off just to get the front 2 inch leveling kit and a 3 inch body lift?

I wouldn't know why the body lift wouldn't fit...since the Sports of those years are the same as the SLT's....

Honestly, they got some weird stuff going there.

I think what they mean by "will not fit Sports", is that it will not fit 99+ Sports as they had a different front bumper and grille.

94-98 Sports just had body colored variants of their chrome SLT bretheren. So, not difference there...as far as the "will not fit 00-01 models with auto trans", WTF?
Then again, thats not your problem.

Once again, I see not problem here, especially since you have a 97, and its standard steel front bumper.

Hope that helps.

Pretty much everyone will write things off as not fittin sports but given the year of your truck it is no different than a non sport other than some paint, it will work

This shouldn't apply to you because yours is just different in paint scheme, other than that nothing is different form the same year non sport.
