Oh and 1999 was the highest selling year, with 450,000 transmission popping, plenum gasket blowing, dask cracking, beautiful mall crawlers built.

when he said its losing power, all i could think of was the cat and plenum
His cat could have clogged up from getting bounced around like that. But that still doesnt explain the smoke.

+1 for hydro-locked.

The Intake "hose" was off the front and poor old girl was drinking a lot of water.

And they Picked the Dumbest of the 3 of them to drive her.

I enjoy watching the British TopGear on Youtube quite a bit, but this "American" version is just the Automotive equivalent to "WWE Raw": As in pretty cool looking but totally staged.

Well, it is a TV show. They somehow gotta have a script. At least it isnt gay like WWE.

I gotta say, I'd rather watch the British version. Brits are just smashingly funny.

Yes, because everyone needs a vehicle in their driveway with body panels so thin that they actually have cardboard glued to the underside for added "strength". I believe that people love trucks that rust out in a record breaking 20,000 miles or less. The British proved it? W....T...F...? Do you just like being in a run away vehicle or was you dropped on your head as a child?

What's next? You telling me that Duramax is the best diesel out there? LOL Same thing in my book.

No. Yes, they make reliable motors, yes they make decent off road vehicles, thats it. I wouldn't consider any Toyota "truck", a real Truck. Timing belts instead of timing chains? I loved how when the new Tundra came out they advertised it towed more than Ford, Dodge, and Chevy, yet they were comparing it to all the Big 3 V6 models.

I never said Toyotas were rust proof, just that they will run forever.

Oh and the Ford 6.0 is the best diesel out there (If you're a Ford mechanic).

Apparently what they used worked! And I'm not talking about the American made crap they build today, its the Hiluxes, Tacos, and 4Runners in the 80s and the 90s that matter. I wouldnt touch the runaway crap they mass produce today (except for the Japan-built 4Runners).
