I dunno about you, but I for one sure as hell wouldn't want to be in something that MOVES when I can see day light in the floor or watch the bed lift up on because every thing but the frame was rusted loose.

Oh and the Ford 6.0 is the best diesel out there (If you're a Ford mechanic).

Apparently what they used worked! And I'm not talking about the American made crap they build today, its the Hiluxes, Tacos, and 4Runners in the 80s and the 90s that matter. I wouldnt touch the runaway crap they mass produce today (except for the Japan-built 4Runners).
Okay sure, but their still not the toughest "Truck". Granted, I know you are referring to the Toyota plants based here in the U.S. when you are saying "American made crap", but I can't for the life of me believe any U.S. citizen would use that phrase. I try my hardest to only buy stuff made in the U.S., if that means driving an extra 20 miles to buy a tool built here, then so be it.

I use it. Craftsman tools are made here. They're crap. Toyotas, quality wise are suffering compared to the Japanise built ones. Look at the truck in your driveway, it most likely wasnt built here, as most of them were built in Mexico

That said, I do try to buy stuff made here, as long as it is quality. Even if I have to go out of my way, and spend more money.

And here I'm sitting suddenly realizing that I've never broken a craftsman anything except for a shop vac which was my fault...

Unless you want to group in the times that I've heated a wrench up and bent it at a 90* angle to get to a header bolt...

I noticed that the chrome on my Craftsman set was peeling off. I've seen Craftsman tools that are 40+ years old and not doing that, so yes. The quality is lacking.

Are you kidding me? Craftsman is crap? No....no their not. Find a Jap tool company that has a free ratchet/socket/wrench lifetime replacement policy. No, you can't. I'm sorry, I know I have to live with overseas products no matter what, but its hard for me to support anything Japanese. Those sneaky bastards are over seas just grinning at how stupid we are for not realizing they never have, or never will buy anything made here in the U.S., yet we still trade with them for some reason?

However, they do make some good lookin women.

So? Go get a new one. The only time you lose is if you misplace one.

Man Laramie, what have the moderators and 4th genners done to you?

I'm talking about the damn quality of the sockets. They've gone down over the years, and now Craftsman is crap.

They haven't done anything to me.

I've never gotten half the complaining that goes in this section anyways. When people were spending their weekends fixing their ram, I was out driving it...

Now all I have to worry about is which Ford I'm going to go pick on.
