Default Rear Bumper..

My rear bumper is starting to rust, Im wondering if I should look into rechroming it or getting a new aftermarket one.. Has any one done either if so how much? Also the aftermarket bumpers do they hold up better then aftermarket tailgates? I have seen aftermarket tailgates bend with any serious weight on them, (like an engine for example)..
Thanks..

Clean your's up and send it out for re-chroming. It'll come back looking like a mirror, and much better than some Chinese replacement bumper. If mine didnt have so many dents in it and the '09-up bumper didnt look so good, I'd do it too.

What does a tailgate have to do with a bumper? Maybe I missed something?

Think he was referring to quality of the replacement part more than anything else.
