Hey guys im looking to get a 2 inch leveling kit for my truck and new tires and wheels. My question is what is the biggest tire I can put under it being its stock plus the 2inch level front kit. It currently has 265s on it.

285's will fit fine without much rubbing. and even then, just on the control arms at full lock.

265-285- you know you guys are talking about the width, right. 265=10.4 inches wide, 285=11.3 inches wide. Diameter, and offset matter too. I run 33x12.5x15 which would be about 315-75-15. I have no lift yet and they only rub my step bars when I make a hard turn. With the right offset you could run a bigger tire.

You are correct, but when people around here say 285, they are just refering to 285/75/16 or 285/70/17. Both of which basically the same as a 33 except narrower. It's just easier to say 285. We all know what they mean since 265's and 285's are about the most common tire that came on 2nd gen Rams.

If you keep it on the road and dont mind a little rubbing you could get away with 315/75, also a 305/70 should fit with at most slight rub on control arm, this is assuming you keep close to stock rims, get a little less back space and dont go to wide and 315/75's can fit without rub

If you offroad stick to 285/75, or 305/70
