Default crank,crank,crank,crank.... Start eventually

My 95 318 hates to start. Once running it runs good. Yes the fuel pressure is good. I even plugged it in last night. New cap rotor wires plugs 02 sensor cleaned tb and all sensors. Fresh fuel with fuel line antifreeze. Any one have any ideas?

did you measure fuel pressure? might be weak.
any black or blue smoke or smell at start?
what did the old plugs look like? normal or very bad?

does it start any better if you press the gas pedal to open the throttle plate. this would bypass IAC.

does it start any better if you give it a shot of starting fluid down the TB? this would indicate a gas problem.

wild guesses - bad gas? coil? cam position sensor?

If you checked the fuel pressure with a gauge while it was running and it was good, did you turn the motor off and see how long the pressure holds?

Fuel pressure holds at 60 off or tring to start. Can hear pump. No smoke or problems before this, plugs fine.

You need to start a new thread, tell us what you drive, what the problem is, and what you have done so far trying to figure it out. Posting so little information in a nine year old thread isn't going to help anyone.
