I just can't see myself paying 2500 for a Trans thinking of getting mine rebuilt with heavy duty parts for $1000 anybody know what would be the best torque converter and anything else ill need?

As matty675 wrote, I did a brief first impression write-up a while back. The only perceptible difference is the quality of the shifts, but what I like most about it is knowing that I'm free of the worry that plagues everyone who knows what to expect of a stocker.

All in all, it was worth every penny I sunk into it. Can't say the same for the install done by drivetrain.com, but that's not PATC's fault. I'll still buy parts from drivetrain.com but I'll never let them touch my truck again.

518 with a shift kit and a floor shifter from lokar. that it looks like ya got a stick and can shift like it and no clutch.....Mind over matter....
