Default posi-lok and limited slip

I just picked up a ram 2500. It was a honey of a deal. $3600. Of course there was issues with the truck. One, it had been wrecked at least once. I was looking for a truck to haul wood. Nothing fancy. I ended up finding a real nice truck but first thing is first. Let's troubleshoot the front end.
It seems that my 4x4 high and low might not be working intermittent. First day I tried it, seemed to not lock in immediately. When we heard the clunk into four wheel drive I didn't see the light come one but it sounded/felt like everything was locked in. day two and shifted and it felt like it never locked and light wasn't one. I started down the mountain and the 4x4 light came on. If I pushed the gas the light would go off or if I hit a pretty good washboard it would go on and off. From what I've read it sounds like weak vacuum?
Will the posilok cure this? Also, I pulled some number off the tag on the rear differential cover. Does that tell me if I have limited slip? How do I know?
Thanks

The posi-Lok will fix the 4x4 issue, but you still need to solve the vacuum problem.

If you have a limited slip there should be 2 tags. The one your looking at is probably the tag that has the gear ratio numbers on it. Does it say 3.55 or 3.73 ect ?

Here is a pictue of the tag on talking about that comes with the LSD diff's. At least on Jeeps but im pretty sure its the same for dodge.
Do you see that tag on the right hand side that near the fill plug ? Thats the tag that LSD should have, the tag says something like put limited slip additive in it .

Oh and yes i know my diff cover is sexy.
