Hello anybody,

iam new here in this Forum and have a Question....

Has sombody experience to put a 2008 SRT Hemi from a Charger in a 2.gen.
1999 Dodge Ram 1500 318cui?
I have the most parts including Wiring Harnes, Tranny, Ecus....

My question is where are the probs.?

i do not have experience with such a swap but i could tell you... motor mounts tranny mounts will be different. Our engine bays have lots of room so there shouldnt be any problems with fitment. wiring it up would prolly be a headache. But anything can be done with enough money... or free time and a lota determination. good luck and if you do go through with it keep us informed.

 

Sebody else is in the process of putting a HEMI on theor 2nd Gen. It's actually a recent thread. Look it up as I'm sure there's lots of info in it.

that link is for a 5.7 hemi but i beleive they are almost the same as the 5.7 as far as block ect
