OK, got a 1999 RAM 5.2, TCC doesnt lock, Now I am having the no-bus issues intermittently. But I noticed my CEL has never come on, but it doesnt even come on when I turn the key on...Bulb is fine, switched it with a good one, checked all connections/cleaned to the PCM. Items already addressed on the truck:

Manifold Gasket
Full tune up
OP shaft sensor

Truck runs perfect other wise....

ANY HELP GREATLY appreciated!!!

 

I would start by cleaning and makeing sure all grounds strap connections are tight.
Also the same with the battery.

Thanks Dave! Already done that, pretty much everything I could find in threads, I cleaned and greased all PCM fittings, checked and swapped around all of the relays, still have no clue why Check Engine Light wont come on when you turn the key....WEIRD!

 

Check the pcm output on the line that is supposed to suggest to the cluster that it turn the light on. You should get voltage there... If you don't, either bad connection, or, bad PCM.

 

Any place to find a pinout on the PCM?
