I have 1997 Dodge Ram 1500 4x4 SLT with the 5.2L. I need to know what transmission is in it, is it a 46re?? Id like to purchase a rebuilt one with warranty and swap it my self since Im in the military and dont have many other options money wise. Also my drivers door is sagging and I have the hinge pins but I cant find a spring compression tool for the door spring does anyon know where to find one or have a improvised way to compress it for the hinge pin swap?
