Default Starting problems...stumped

Hey. I have a 1995 5.9L V8, 2WD 1500 pickup.

The other day I went to start the truck up and no luck. Here is what is/seems to be working.

Battery good (tested at autozone)
Starter is spinning
gauges light up, radio comes on.
Motor seems to turn over
Fuel Pump working, 1/4 tank of gas
Checked 1 spark plug, it was ok.
Oil good, coolant good (level)

Here are the things I am not sure of.

Distributor cap and fuses

FYI. Truck has been sitting for 3 days now. We had a snowstorm, and a suprising amount of snow had drifted under the hood....not much of it has melted. I brushed most it out.

Let me know what your think.

you say you checked one spark plug.. did you check it for condition, or spark?

you may also want to read the thread about 'truck doesn't start under 40 degrees'.. It may also pertain to you..

Are you sure your fuel tank level is not off...i had problem like this..turns out that the ol Dodge fuel sending units get off...badly. I ran out of gas twice with a "1/4" tank of gas.

Frozen fuel line maybe. How do you know the fuel pump is working? Did you check it with a gauge or do you just hear it?

I checked the condition of the plugs, not for spark.

I can hear the fuel pump start, I also smell a little gas.

I would agree that the fuel gauge might be off, but I got a new fuel pump in the summer...so I might rule that out.

weak spark I'll bet. Try changing the coil, mine did the same thing. weak spark will stop it dead in its tracks.

Overall it was running well for being 15 years old. New fuel pump this summer. New tstat, hoses this summer.

It has always started hard in the winter for me, but this winter has seemed to be a little harder than other. On start-up it kinda grumbles and burns rich...

Otherwise, once warm-up it works fine nothing out of the ordinary.

replacing the fuel pump won't fix the problem with the sending unit...I just suggest adding some more gas as a quick check...can't hurt.
