Default Doetsch Shocks

Has anyone run a set of doetsch shocks?
Which ones do have/had?
Did they last?
Did you like them?
Would you buy them again?
Or have you heard good or bad about them from others?

Im getting there spindles and need new shocks, because of the lift I already have. The DT3000 series shocks are probrably the ones I will get, just wanted a decent shock, that will last and be the right length.

I dont want to hear about how much better bilsteins or procomp shocks are, or hear that I need to spend $200 bucks a shock, just want opinions on these....please

Well which shocks are you looking at? They make everything from run of the mill OEM equivalent to rebuildable coilovers. I could tell you best also. Their shop is nextdoor to ours..

Im looking at the DT3000 or the Prerunner 8000 series...might even splurge for the nitrogen 9000 series

Right now my shocks are toast and the front ones are just barely llong enough and Im still happy with the ride so anything the right lenght will be better

All of those are rebranded Procomp and Rancho products. Which in turn are rebranded by some importer. They're all China made. Doetsch makes great shock absorbers, but not for what you're looking to spend.

Just hit the autoparts store and buy whatever is on sale. They're all going to ride the same for the price.

I hope there not the same as rancho...they are the biggest piles of ****, and I was looking at procomp but these are cheaper so I can deal with that.

I know that they came on ZQ8 S-10s and many of the people on the S10 Forum love them.

They're all just OEM equivalent shocks. I've never really heard anything out of the norm bad about them, just nothing overwhelmingly good either. They're just stock shocks.
