Cam sensor can also trigger an ASD event.

I think the sensors put out a frequency.... not sure if it is sine wave, or square wave.....

Might want to track down some posts by cmckenna, he wrote some good troubleshooting steps for asd events.... which is what it sounds like you are getting...... might have to go back a month or more though.

Think I will bite the bullet and get a new crank sensor, readings are a bit erratic...

If they allow returns on unused electrical parts..... might just as well score a cam sensor too. Maybe save you a trip.

Installed new crank sensor this morning, no change in the no start condition. fuel pump and ignition still dead. I am thinking more and more its the PCM.

Do you get fuel pump prime when you first hit the key?

No, didnt hear the fuel pump prime at all.
