The paper one that came with it, after the fact I imagine its better to just go get a new good one?
I have bought a water pump from every parts store in town (Advance, NAPA, AutoZone) over the past few years, as I go through a water pump about every 30,000 miles. NONE of the gaskets that came with those pumps matched up at all with the old pump, the new pump, the old gasket, or the engine. The gaskets that come with the pumps are absolute **** and do not work on our engines. Why this is like this, I have no idea. Get a Fel-Pro gasket, its the right one for the job.
