Default Tranny maintenance, sonnax sure cure

Hey all.
The tranny thread is doa for now so I thought I would ask here.
And I hope this is not a question that has been asked a thousand times.
I am changing the tranny fluid soon. While I was in there I figured I would replace the filter, Governor Pressure Transducer, Internal Harness , Overdrive & Lock-Up Solenoid Set.
Then i got to reading about the Sonnax sure cure kit. Will I see any benifit from installing this? Will it help extend the life of the tranny. Any reason not to install it?
Only problem I have now is that it will not up shift if I keep it floored.
Truck (1998) with the 46re has 89k miles currently. 4x4
I do not do much towing or off roading.
Thanks

Monte loved the surecure, and recommended it for all trans builds. Being as he knows a hell of a lot more about trannies than I ever will..... I would take that advice.

Make sure you get good quality solenoids and such, NOT the reman fellers.....

WOT problems are likely due to gov pres. sensor. Since you are digging that deep into the system anyway, might consider doing the GM conversion. Self cleaning valve, and a more reliable pressure sensor.....

Not to hijack your topic, but have you tried to adjust your TV cable. It not being adjusted properly can cause the issue you have.

Here is a PDF of what to do.

Been looking for a link with more info on the gm conversion. Can someone point up a link and or explain it better?
Thanks
