Default Exhaust Mods

Ups came today and brought me my Headers from Summit. And my hiflow cat from Magnaflow. Wich now brings me to mufflers, what setups are you guys using? One or two mufflers things like that. I would like to have 2 mufflers but can I do that with out having to spend more money on another cat?? Or is it better to run with one muffler??

At the moment Im running nothing at all gutted cat no muffler and I cant stand the way it sounds. Sounds like a derby car.

When I had gutted cat and no muffler it was so loud it was embarassing. I parked it.

I felt the need to comply with local emissions laws and so bought a cat. I decided to try putting the cat of with no muffler and that is how I'm still running over 6 months later.

I'd say it has essentially the same sound to it but way quieter if that makes sense. Definitely not a bassy low frequency rumble sound like some of the dudes seem to be after.

i run a single 2.5 inch inlet/outlet round magnaflow with the cat untouched and i couldnt be happier with teh sound. nice deep tone but not overly loud with normal driving but when you lay into it, its sound picks up nice as would any exhaust

You really dont need 2 mufflers
even my V10 factory setup was 2 headers 1 into each CAT both CATS dump into one muffler then single pipe out.
My newest setup was the same except into 1 FM 40 then dual pipes out of the muffler
