Default CODE P1762 ?

Hi everybody. Just bought a Ram 1500 4x4 5.9 about 4 months ago, and I notice some rough noise from the rear end. This week the check engine light came on so I took the truck to Auto Zone so that they can read the codes that are in the OBDII. The code are P0740 and P1762, if any one has some info to the nature of such codes please let me know. Thanks in advance

I looked up the codes you requested with my '97 book and it shows the following:
P0740--Torque Converter Clutch, No RPM drop at Lockup. Fault is relationship between engine speed and vehicle speed indicates no torque converter clutch engagement (auto trans. only). Most likely faulty component--Lockup solenoid, Relay, or Shorted/Open wiring.

P1762--Govenor Pressure Solenoid Control/Trans Relay Circuit. Fault is Sensor input greater or less than calibration for 3 consecutive Neutral/Park occurrences. Most likely faulty component-Govenor Solenoid and Pressure Sensor.

Reminder that this is what is posted in manual, unfortunately I have no personal experience with trans failures with my vehicle. Good place to start though.
