i really like it and can finally break my tires lose on dry pavement.

my question is to yall who already have one is, which octane tune did you use? which octane of gas? and which tune has the best power? fuel milage?

I use the 87 octane program if I am hauling a load...other then that I run the 93 octane program with 92 or 93 octane gas all the time. I have not experimented using lower octane gas with the 93 tune. I am getting about 11.9 miles per gallon on this winter gas. If your after fuel economy you probably want to stick with the 87 program. I am not patient enough to see what type of mileage I can dial up with the 87 tune when I can get the power I wanted with the 93 octane tune. Have you tried yours out in the 93 mode yet? Its a nice kick!

no i still have 1/4 tank of 87 i need to burn up before i try a different tune.
i was thinking of filling up with 89 and use the 89 tune, and see how much more power i got, then trying out the 93 with the correct tune.

i was using the 93 with 93 gas... to much fuel consumption.. im back to 87 with 87 tune good fuel millage and still great power! but with 93 and 93 gas.. the power is unbelievable.. and for 87 gas with 93 tune i dont recomend it i asked hemifever and he strongly motivated me away from that one! my scan guage tells me im getting 15-17 on hwy and 17-20 in city the readings vary becuase of gas pedal. since i put the ported tb on my readings flutuate due to more throttle response so im estimating there!

ok guys well yesterday i decided to try out mid-grade gas(premium) and after i filled up i noticed it was still only 89 octane. wtf! i guess i never relized it before but our gas grades are 87,89,93. but the tuners setting are for 87,91,93.

so now i have a half tank of 89 octane gas running on a 87 octane tune.
sob! what a waste of money that fill up was! i should have just paid the extra $3 for a full tank of supreme (93)

I have run the 93 with 91 gas with no problems. But I have the fitch fuel catalyst. I will say this, I can run any tune with any octane and not notice much of a difference.

But I try to keep the tune with the octane. I have run the 93 with 92 octane.

Right now i run 91 with 92 gas.

yeah i know what you mean.

by chance did yall notice a change in your shift points? the only one i noticed is overdrive lock-up. it use to unlock/lock-up at 45 mph according to my gps, now its about 55.
i guess this is where that extra power comes from.(keeping the engine at 2k rpms longer)
