You pay a bit for his work because its damn fine work.

You are correct, the stock plates are 50mm. However, its not that easy to make 52mm plates.

Did he solicit you out of the blue, or did you post a parts wanted thread somewhere? How did he come to contact you?

Has this ever happened to anyone, is it a scam? Also what kind of performance gain will I see by installing a new one. Whats the difference between 50mm and 52mm. My goal is to improve acceleration and I do a good bit of towing. How long will it take to install and do I need to get a new air intake? I'm that guy who asks too many questions. Thanks
The performance gains by itself aren't that great, but it amplifies future upgrades. For me, it did improve highway acceleration/power slightly. When paired with a CAI (or other intake system) and other upgrades, it works very well. No new air cleaner system is required, though, you can use any normal aftermarket or the OEM factory unit. It took me about an hour when I did mine, and that was simply because I had no idea what I was doing. That was back when I barely knew how to change my oil.

sorry that we dont media blast as we dont have access to stuff like that. We dont make a living on these so sorry if we are upsetting you in any way. The bores we can assure as I have all the right tools to assure pure accuracy. I cant make 52mm as I dont have the blades nor do I think I could make the blades sit right. I cant make the top as shiny as you have yours, even though many people dont take off their airhats to show their friends there polished throttle body. We do our best at polishing so sorry were not perfect like your workmanship is. Just helps my brother with his truck payments. Its much easier to include a dakota airhat bolt instead of giving them a threaded rod to bend it themselves. Thanks for bashing on me and my brother. Sorry that I am not a legit seller like you are.

You sure seem to have alot to be sorry for. First off I do not make a living off these, I run a animal boarding center and go to school for welding full time! This is my hobby period. Nobody bashed you or your brother. Not all airhat bolts are the same and why clutter up the top of the throttle body thus defeating the purpose of shaving off the airhorns and such to maximize airflow. Most people run different airhats, I give them the option to use the rod to there specific application, its not hard to bend and yet they can still run what they got if they choose, but when people get mine in their hands they begin to understand the necessity of the S-bolt. Do you provide a gasket, bolts, instructions? It is a proven fact that air flows over a polished surface better that a rough surface and how can you call that thing polished? Is it mirror like?

Hey now, let keep it respectful around here. If you make a better product. So be it. There's no need to belittle anyone or there product. Just be mindful that not one person is better then anyone else in the DF and I'm including myself in that statement.

Constructive criticism or stating why you think your product is better is one thing, 1999blkdakrt. Bashing someone's product to the point where you are bashing them is another.

Play nice guys.

i bought one of salex007's tb, the reason i went with him is because he came to me.
anyways the price he charge was well worth the product he sent me.

i would warn everyone who buys modified throttle bodies to clean them throughly with brake cleaner before installing, the reason is because there are alot of fine aluminum metal shavings everywhere, and you dont want them sucked into your motor

with that being said heres a pic of the throttle body i received
