Default Tires rub

O.k, here it is, When i turn the wheel all the way to either the left or right, the tires will actually rub on the frame. to be clear it is the back of the tire that rubs. i find it hard to believe that the tires are to big as i only have 285/75 16's on. i dont think there is a lift kit of any sort on the truck. this cant be normal but there doesnt appear to be anything broken or bent and the truck drives ok(im having the death wobble thing go on atm, but that is a different thread). what can i do to fix this? thnx

you should be able to clear the 285's on stock rims on a stock height 4x4. i was able to clear 35's with minimal rubbing on only 2" of lift. i am now running 285/75/16's and have no problems what so ever lock to lock.

Cant you just live with it? I think I have hit my steering locks maybe once since I have been driving this truck.

Sounds like your rubbing control arms not frame, and if so its the backspacing of your rims, most live with it and some get different rims or spacers
