With a tuner, something that overwrites the existing programming.

Wut other things should I look for as in popular problems and wut not I've had my truck for a year I bought it with 92,000 and now I'm up to 123,000 I drive 10 miles a week bc of work and every other weekend i drive about 380 miles and I have no problems besides a noise that I can't find I've been looking for it every olf and I can't find it it sounds like maybe the Bedliner or the plastic wheel wells moving when I go over bumps sometimes I do all my own work and I'm pretty picky.

Read this, and until you check the correct way, don't fool yourself into thinking you have no problem. https://dodgeforum.com/forum/2nd-gen...um-thread.html

I'm a mechanic if anyone is thinking I'm just some guy with a truck I'm not oblivious to this stuff but I am still learning I've only been doing it for 4.5 years but I'm pretty knowledgeable about this stuff but I'm not arrogant I'm always open to help and advice

yea ok, did I say something wrong? So am I, for 30 years, and didn't know about that problem(plenum) until I found this place a few years ago. No big deal bud, just check it, and replace the pan anyway.

You need to read the plenum thread and fix that problem. I have a 2000 , 2500 that was very low miles too. But , the plenum gasket was blown , I caught it early thank god. Before clogged cat and cracked heads.

Yea, after the plenum fix, confirmation that the the cat is not clogged(or on it's way) and at least a compression test .
