Default Stalling @ idle

[:@] does anyone know what could be making a truck stall out at idle. for axample sitting at a drive through line, and the truck just dies????? im really at a loss on this poor girl.. seems like more parts are needing to get changed out every week on her.. i love her, and i will continue to swap out parts. but if anyone has any suggestions as to what could be causing this stalling problem i would appreciate it very much.
thanks everyone
shannon

throttle body is dirty, pull it off and clean the IAC that is on the back of the TB. then clean out the small air passages that are down there too...

I pulled into my driveway today just getting back from work and as I was backing up, my truck died. I started it up, backed up some more, it died again. I got it into the parking spot and started it and let it idle, idled fine, revved it up a little let off the gas, dies. So I was like crap this is nice. Did a quick search and this thread popped up. Tore down the throttle body and cleaned it out good, reinstalled and BAM runs great again! You've gotta love these forums, there is always somene that had the same thing happen to them and they know exactly what the problem is, you can save a ton of money by keeping away from the repair shop. I bet if I took it to the Dodge dealer it would have cost me 50-100 bux.

67 dollar part at the dealer. If cleaning does not work.

I just bought an IACV at Napa for $57 bux. put it in in about 15 minutes... had to remove the K&N tube to gain access to one of the bolts.
