I was going to change out the chain and gears and use the original cover with a new gasket. Do I need to buy a new cover also? Is there a whole kit I can buy that has all the parts?

You do not need a new cover.

The part number for the timing cover gasket set is TCS45996 By Fel-Pro.

Part number for a double roller timing set is C3028X By Cloyes
