Default Axle lengths??
just bought a 95 3500 utility bed truck (without bed). I wanna put on a factory dually bed (no flared stuff here)...Ive been told my axel housing is shorter in comparison to the dually bed axel,is this true??

Chassis cab axles were indeed narrower it would seem. Check the 7th digit of the VIN, 6=chassis cab.

checked the vin and it is a chassis cab..does anyone know the lenghts of the chassis cab axel and the red axel??
