Yea but instead, just swap the front tires back to the left/right side they originally were at. The front tires are suppose to be crossed, The rear tires are suppose to stay on the same side they were on at the rear.

Basicly the front tires go in the X pattern, the rear tires stay in a l l straight line,

If you scroll down and look at the picture with the patterns on it, The way your suppose to rotate rear and 4x4 vehicles is the first pattern, and if you have directional tires, they only go on one way, so the 3rd pattern is what you need to do if you have directional. (should say on the tire)

yup radials can not be switched to the opposite side or it will cause a band to break in the tire which eventually can lead to tread seperation.

that sound like what my dad told me but i always forget how it is explained. usually if a band breaks it could cause a truck to shake.

run your hand over the tread and sidewalls and feel for hills or lumps to make sure you didnt already break a band.
