I haven't tried the DuraTrac though I ran Wrangler M/T's for years, but next on my list of things to try is the Kelly Safari TSR. I hear it's worth looking into.

i work at goodyear and the duratrac's are nice tires. however, the kelly safari TSR's offer better traction and longer tread life than the duratracs. i'd be running them myself if i had a 4x4....but i dont so i run wrangler silent armor's

I have duratrac's now, have for about 10k miles, (since I bought the truck) and I absolutely love them. They have worn beautifully and even when getting a bit low on tread as they are now, still perform beautifully in the snow and ice, haven't had them in mud yet though. I will definitely be getting another set when I need new ones.

ok, so i think the duratracs sell for $160 or more a tire and i think the kelly safari's sell for around $120 a tire. i am not too sure though, a lot depends on the size of the tire and also i think i had my employee discount figured in.

I have duratracs on the wifes Xterra.
They have about 30k

Complaints:
-Loud already (quite a bit more than BFG a/t's, less than Baja Claws)
-Felt real squishy and squirmy the 1st 10k (either got used to it, or they stiffend up a little) Ride was sloppy enough I wouldnt tow with them. A little twitch of the front wheels meant the back was slinging out. Almost bad enough that I took them back, but didnt.
-They cupped on the front because we missed the 4k rotation pattern and went 5k one time....

Compliments:
-They have GREAT snow/ice traction and good wet traction.
-Excellent on road traction.
-Great in dirt and light mud.
-Even with mostly street driving and 30k-ish they appear to have quite a bit of life left in them.
-Price was better than BFG a/t's
-Look way better than BFG a/t's

Would I buy them again?
I dont know. Depends on the options at the time.
I would on a vehicle for me, they are a bit much on the wifes daily rig.
I will do something different on the sexterra next time....

I have them on my F150 and they will be going on my Ram soon too. Awesome tire on ice and snow. Look good too. Quiet as well.

Pretty sure i was the first on here to get these. Im commin up on two years in a few months. This guy who posted the above is dead on. Mine had sidewall squish (felt when turning) when I first got them. Mine also liked to cup so I do run lower pressure to wear flat and... thus hurts mileage. They give good traction, but mine certainly show some wear.

Have them on my 07 Ram for a year now! 27,000 miles on them and wearing perfectly! Rotation is key with these! I commute 600 miles a week in jersey and they handle the snow, wet pavement, perfectly! Run the interstates here @ 65 - 75 mph and must say best tire I have had on the truck yet! Can't say much for the offroad aspect as I seldom take her off road! I will without a doubt be putting another set on when these are wiped probably after about another 25,000 or so! Hope this helps!
