5 speed help

Default 5 speed help

well ive been looking online and found that the dodge 5 speeds are nv3500 which is what chevy used in there half ton trucks and its very hard to find a dodge with a 5 speed in my area because the people that have them are still driving them but there are alot of 5 speed chevys really cheap so i was woundering if anyone would know if they where the same exact transmission or if chevy changed anything to if anyone knows please help me out my 46re is finaly starting to slip after 190,000 miles and i ran the ***** off it so i dont see how they are junk but im just wanting a 5 speed

No, you cannot use the Chevy NV3500.

ok do u know of any other trannies that will work because i want a 5 speed i just didnt know if the chevy tranny was any different than the dodge

You really need a donor truck to do the swap, lots of parts needed.
