runnin lean and shifting funny
hey yall my truck is a 98 5.9 gas 1/2 ton with 176xxx miles. i has recently started taking forever to shift into 4th gear and ive been throw code0171 for running lean, what could the problem be?

Low fuel pressure, or, bad O2 sensor....... Is that one original? If it is, replace it. (and reset the PCM.)
4th gear is controlled by a solenoid. However, if it is really cold out, your truck WON'T shift to O/D.......
