Hey guys, still pretty new to the site so i apologize if this has been covered before, but heres the deal. I've always had an obsession with Cummins and the only reason i didnt buy one is the money at the time i purchased my truck, I've got a 98 1500 Quad Cab 4x4 with the re auto in it. And I keep seeing these 4bt swaps out there. I'm really interested into maybe putting one in my truck if it's not too crazy, rather than putting time and money into my 318. Could anyone give me more info on what it would take to get this kinda thing done? Are the only mods needed the motor mounts and a tranny, or could i use my auto with it? Is a 6bt possible?
