1500 Laramie shudders in OD between 1400 and 1800 RPM
Got the '94 dodge 5.2 liter for a steal. told me there was a hesitation in initial acceleration and does the same in overdrive at a certain RPM. Said it didn't start until after he changed plugs, wires, and distributor cap. (hopefully not related.) Put a new EGR and O2 Censor on it and i think the hesitation is completely gone. but the shudder is still there. either at a certain RPM or just when i'm trying to maintain speed with the slightest of throttle pressure. I turn off the overdrive and it stops for the most part. until it reaches a certain RPM again. but applying torque through acceleration certainly helps. Please no abbreviations cuz i won't understand most of them. Thanks.
When mine was doing that trick, it was an engine miss, due to fouled plugs, due to a blown plenum gasket..... Pull the plugs, see what they look like. Cap and rotor as well.
i have a plug that i can't get out. thinking someone else couldn't either. hoping it's old and fouled. maybe the problem. would that effect power as well?

Spray a bunch of penetrating oil in plug well, then back it out as far as you can, then screw it back in, then repeat, and the oil should eventually work its way down the threads and you can remove it.
I've done this before on a chevy from Michigan, talk about a rust bucket.
